Setting Up Other Resources

What Are Other Resources?

Other Resources are flexible, bookable assets that don’t fit into desks, offices, or rooms.

Examples:

  • Parking spaces
  • Podcast studios
  • Event halls
  • Storage units

They behave like standard resources and can be booked based on availability and pricing.

Creating an Other Resource

  1. Go to Inventory → Other Resources
  2. Click Create resource
  3. Fill in:
    • Name
    • Description
    • Capacity
    • Location
    • Floor
    • Size
    • Visibility — Public or Hidden
    • Photo
  4. (Optional) Enable Manage Availability
  5. Save

Manage Availability

  • When enabled, the system tracks availability and prevents double-bookings
  • When disabled, the resource can be booked without limits
  • Once enabled, it cannot be turned off

Pricing

Other Resources use rates:

  • Hourly
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly

You can define multiple rates within the same group, but you cannot mix hourly with daily/weekly/monthly.

Using with Subscriptions

Other Resources can be assigned to subscriptions, just like desks and offices.

How They Work

  • Can be booked via the booking system
  • Can have availability limits
  • Can be used with plans and subscriptions

Common Questions

Can I disable availability after enabling it?
No — once enabled, it cannot be turned off.

Can I use Other Resources without availability?
Yes — simply leave Manage Availability off.

Can Other Resources be booked and subscribed?

What’s the difference from Services?
